Emma Lucia Reyes is an experienced dancer who was trained from the age of 4 in classical ballet (achieving honours or distinctions in RAD examinations 1-8). She also learnt other forms of dance including Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Flamenco (grade 1-5 Spanish Dance Society) and has performed these in various London theatres such as the Bloomsbury Theatre, Sadler’s Wells and the Troxy Theatre. Exploring Salsa and Egyptian dance lead her to perform and teach throughout England, Nottingham and abroad – Egypt and Tunisia.
In the last five years she has broken into the world of Argentinian Tango, taken under the wing of dancer and musician Martin Espindola, who she taught with for 3 years at Tango Terra, Covent Garden. She continues to perform with Martin in and around the uk and Europe. Emma uses tango as a melting pot for all her dance experience, pouring all her passion and creativity into the dance, and is becoming known for her enthusiastic teaching style and daring performances!
Born in London to an English mother and Chilean father- Emma is a London girl at heart, with latin blood pulsing through her veins.. of course.. it is impossible for her not to dance!
