A date for your diaries – Adrian and Amanda Costa will be in Bedford on Saturday 11 March!
They’re with us just for the afternoon and will be teaching three workshops to include technique, vals and tango.
Adrian and Amanda are among the most influential and admired teachers of salon tango in the style of Villa Urquiza.
They have a true passion for the heritage, culture and social aspect of tango and their dance is full of intense emotion, elegance and remarkable musicality.
You can expect teaching of the highest quality…precise yet delivered with generosity, humour and care.
They are invited to teach all over the world – United States, Costa Rica, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, France, Scotland, Ireland, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Tunisia, London…and Bedford!
Adrian and Amanda won’t be in the UK again until 2018. We hope you’ll make the most of this opportunity to have classes with them this year.
PROGRAMME:
Class 1: 12.30 – 2.00 p.m. Tango technique – (all levels)
Weight transfer, pivot and parallelism in the embrace.
Class 2: 2.15 – 3.45 p.m., Vals (intermediate)
How to integrate vals rhythms in simple figures.
Class 3: 4.00 – 5.30 p.m. – Tango (intermediate/advanced)
Figures of milongueros.
PRICES:
All three classes – £40.00 per person
Each 1.5 hour class – £15.00 per person
As usual at Silueta, drinks and light refreshments are included.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
The classes must be booked and paid for in advance.
Please note that the classes will be gender balanced. If you don’t have a dance partner, please contact us to be added to our list and we will see if we can match you with a partner though, of course, we can make no promises!
