How to reach Cascia:
the best solution to reach Cascia is certainly the car. With the navigator you can use the position of the facebook event.
Alternatively, from Rome take the Autostrada del Sole and take the Orte exit continuing towards Terni in the direction of Valnerina (Marmore Falls). Follow the ss 209 and take the ss 320 for Cascia.
From Florence, take the Autostrada del Sole again and then the Valdichiana exit, to take the link road for Perugia-Assisi-Spoleto-Valnerina.
From Bologna, follow the Adriatic highway up to Civitanova Marche; take the freeway for Macerata-Tolentino and in Muccia take the Visso-Valnerina detour.
From Bari take the Adriatic highway to San Benedetto del Tronto; then get onto the highway for Ascoli Piceno and take the detour for Norcia (Tunnel Forca Canapine).
By train, we suggest Spoleto station as the closest point of reference to Norcia in Umbria.
By plane, the nearest airport is the Umbrian “Sant’Egidio” regional airport in Perugia
