THIS SUNDAY! LOS ANGELITOS special tribute to Angel Vargas, 2pm-8pm in Angel.

This Sunday we will pay tribute to one of the greatest singers of tango: Angel Vargas (22 October 1904 – 7 July 1959, nicknamed ‘El ruiseñor de las calles porteñas’). Join us for an extraordinary afternoon of tango, soft tunes and delicious tandas with DJ El Brunito!

A fabulous singer with an impressive personality, Angel Vargas is often associated with Angel d’Agostino the composer – to form Los Dos Ángeles (the two angels). Together they form what only tango has the secret of: a balanced and delicate relationship between an orchestra leader and a lead voice, that gave birth to some of the most succesful and well known tango tunes of all times. Indeed, tango would miss dearly if it was not for the beautifully formed ‘Tres esquinas’, ‘Ninguna’ or ‘Muchacho’ amongst others. So what better tribute for Angel Vargas and Angel d’Agostino, at Los Angelitos, in Angel (London)?
