As it is often said about tango, “it is not what you do, but how you do it.” Indeed, for us the hallmark of an advanced dancer doesn’t lie in the complexity of his or her steps, but rather in the exquisite flavour that they impart even to the simplest of movements. In this seminar, we explore two musical concepts that make a huge difference in how each movement is accomplished: the notions of cadencies and syncopation.
