Arsenali Tango Marathon is a tango event organized for the first time in
the splendid city of Chania-Crete . We invite you to come and see our
beautiful city with big history and join us for dance at the magnificent
venue of GRAND ARSENAL – CENTER OF MEDITERRANEAN ARCHITECTURE,
which is located in the heart of the Old Town, next to the sea.

The event is organized by Tangueria Dance School specializing in Argentine Tango.

Our intentions are to make new friends, see old friends, dance to the lovely
music of our experienced TDjs and of course enjoy life and the embrace of tango!

The marathon starts on Friday evening, 19th of April and goes on until Sunday evening.
There will be some breaks to rest and feed our bodies, you can find the details in
the program!

For those that will be here already on Thursday evening, 18th of April, they can
join us at a warm up cozy milonga of our school -Tangueria- at Nafsithea All Day

Prices include tasty Greek snacks and refreshments during the marathon.

The bar will be open to serve you if you wish to purchase beer, wine or spirits.

After registration you’ll receive an email with payment instructions.The final confirmation of your participation will be sent to you, right after the payment is received.

About Rodrigo:
Master and dancer of Argentine tango, he grew up in Buenos Aires surrounded by a super tango family, where tango was breathed through dance, music and singing. Rodrigo dances from his childhood and he is recognized as a great teacher and dancer, having been summoned by the most outstanding schools and festivals all over the world.
His marking Maestros – Julio Balmaceda & Corina de La Rosa among others.

We run a Progressive Class and Guided Practica with coaching support every Thursday at Brockworth CommunityHall, for recent and existing dancers.

Every Tuesday – from 4th October (2022) we run a new Programme for beginners to tango, which is also ideal for existing dancers to revisit and refine their technical skills.  This is followed by a Progressive Class for recent and existing dancers, which is tailored to those who attend.  It includes a Guided Practica with coaching support.
