For Your Tango Holiday…Stay In A Historic Palacio Near San Telmo!

This historic palacio, built in 1905, is located just a few blocks from San Telmo, near the famous 9 de Julio Avenue and three blocks from two different subway lines (Independencia and San Jose)
There are four different rooms available from only $23 dollars per night: the Lilac Suite for those who would like the extra privacy offered by their own living room, indoor patio and private luxury bathroom with double jacuzzi; the Mint and Flan Rooms which are also large with high ceilings and share a beautifully decorated bathroom with jaccuzzi; lastly the Blue room which is a budget room because it is served by a more basic bathroom.
Please read this latest guest review received today, which will give you an idea of the place:
“Words are short to explain how much i enjoyed to stay in this beautiful building. A building rich in history that is now making a new chapter , a chapter of love and care and respect for what has come before. Alex & Lena were at the centre of my enjoyment. Such gentle committed intelligent young people who allowed me either space or conversation in a relaxed and enjoyable environment , Always helpful with anything that i asked for . The building is truly beautiful and drips with history and is progressively being lovingly restored. The room is big and airy and filled with light dappling through shuttered windows , It is noisy, so take ear plugs, It is the noise of the bustling city of BsAs and ebbs and flows with the tide of the community . It is not the best neighbourhood of BsAs, but it is a real, raw, earthy neighbourhood filled with Porteno . But the streets are very well lit and the building is very secure Finally the keys- Three big brass , real keys , that clink together reassuringly in your pocket . I loved that I fell in love with this building, and each night i went to tango, i would walk down the sweeping main stair and felt the past vibrancy speaking to me from the walls and the shadows. But is was more than just the building , it was the other occupants , Alex & Lina (the house-sitters) and little Luna (the dog), gentle and warm so friendly who enriched my stay here . I would go back in a heart beat…” 23rd April 2016
