A gloriously glamorous affair was the Milonga Masquerade on a white Friday night. A little snow outside and the nostalgic white of lace, feathers and imaginative fun inside. There was MUCH to entertain! A fashion show kicked the night off with beautiful pieces by the elegant designer, Ostrobotnia Salon. The dancefloor ronda spun to the tunes of celebrated DJ Punto y Branca from Argentina and despite the slightly excitable floorcraft the ronda remained packed to the last.

The performance by Corina Herrera and Pablo Rodriguez was as anticipated, simply beautiful. Playful in places, reminiscing, bursting with grace and clarity on both step and musicality. A delight to watch. Finally, happy birthday to lovely Corina!

Later, a short walk to the after party and finally, a place to settle down and dance till morning.

The festival continues!
Today – more workshops with the maestros and afternoon dancing.
Tonight – Milonga Gala!
