Natalia Cristobal Rivé & Diego Reimer by Featured Tango Photographer Denis Svartz

This month we are delighted to feature an image by one of our favourite tango photographers, Denis Svartz. The photo is of the renowned tango dancers, performers and maestros, Natalia Cristobal Rivé & Diego Reimer during a private training session in their hometown of Lyon, France.
We love the green and gold light floating across the dancers faces and limbs creating a feeling almost as if we are looking at fish swimming together in a giant aquarium. There is movement both in the light and the figures. The dancers are profoundly involved emotionally, studying the music, the movement and each other. There is no performance of attitudes and graces. This really is tango.
A rare and beautiful shot Denis. Thank you!
