Official Maestros and DJ’s for Tango Lovers Festival Athens 2017

The 3rd edition of our beloved festival is coming up! Leading figures from the International Tango scene (Argentina, France, Turkey, Italy) as well as Greece, will meet for the third consecutive year to travel us with the melodies of Buenos Aires and Montevideo.
Athens International TangoLovers Festival will last four days (2-5 February 2017), including an Opening Dance Show with live Orchestra at “Cine Kerameikos”, Workshops at “Libertango Dance School”, and Milongas at “Athinais Culture Center”.
It is worth saying that the TangoLovers Festival is under the aegis of four (4) Embassies (Argentina, Uruguay, Turkey and Italy).
TangoLovers has been established as the winter Tango Festival in the center of Athens and has already gained the support and appreciation not only from the tango lovers in Greece, but also from tango lovers around the world.
Our Festival’s schedule includes the following:
Thursday, the 2nd February 2017
• Opening of the Festival with shows performed by professional couples of Tango as well as live Orchestra, at “Cine Kerameikos”: 21:00 – 23:00.
• Milonga at the same place after the performance: 23:30 – 03:00.
Friday the 3rd to Sunday the 5th of February 2017
• Tango Workshops at the Festival venue “Libertango Dance School”: 18 lessons of 27 hours in total, instructed by 3 international famous couples from Argentina and Turkey.
• Milongas with shows performed by professional tango dancers from 22:30 – 04:00 at the Festival venue “Athinais Culture Center”.
