…some people say Berlin might be the second biggest Tango city second to Buenos Aires, some are calling it Berlinos Aires. There is certainly a grain of thruth in it due to the fact that every night one can choose amongst several milongas. But, there is a very special place in summertime to dance Tango (and also other dances on other days) under the heaven, or sit, eat and drink – and watch the dancers – at the tables around. It is Strandbar Mitte an the border of Spree river at Monbijou Parc, a place which hosted before the last war a small palace of a prussian princess, an opposite “museum island”… It is a place of special charme and atmosphere – Come and dance every Wednesday from 6 p.m.and Sunday from 4 p.m. untill midnight when it does not rain….
